Brim: NOT required – DO NOT enable brim! Orientation: Print flat on the build plate. Assembly: No assembly required for the articulated body. Insert the eyes separately after printing. ⚠️ IMPORTANT – READ BEFORE PRINTING! 🚫 DO NOT ENABLE SUPPORTS OR BRIM! This model is designed to print without supports or brim. Enabling these options may interfere with the small articulated segments, fill the gaps between them, and make the model difficult to free or damage its flexibility. 🧼 CLEAN YOUR BUILD PLATE BEFORE PRINTING! Proper bed adhesion is especially important for models with many small articulated sections. Before printing: Thoroughly wash your build plate with warm water and dish soap. Rinse well and allow it to dry completely. Avoid touching the printing surface with your fingers. Make sure your filament and first-layer settings are properly calibrated. A dirty or greasy build plate can cause small segments to detach during printing, resulting in a failed print. Please remember: good bed adhesion is essential for a successful print! 💡 After Printing Allow the build plate to cool before removing your flounder. Carefully release the model and gently flex the articulated sections during the first use. Avoid forcing any segments that may initially feel stiff. Install your preferred eyes and enjoy your new flexible ocean friend! The eyes are designed as a tight press-fit, so no glue is required 🙂 To install them, gently press them in using the handle of a tool (for example, a support removal tool) — this gives better control and prevents damage. If needed, you can slightly warm the part in your hands or scale the model up by 1–2% for easier insertion. The fit is intentionally tight to ensure the eyes stay in place without glue.
